Cocke County is the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is ideally located in East Tennessee within one day's drive of 75 percent of the United States population. We are located Interstate 40 between Knoxville, Tennessee and Asheville, North Carolina.  We are also located within 9 miles of Interstate 81 and 45 miles of Interstate 75.
